OpenAI launches its first Thai government AI accelerator

OpenAI and Thailand's Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) announced in Bangkok a new eight-week accelerator, the OpenAI x MHESI AI Accelerator, aimed at helping Thai startups turn prototypes into deployable products. Each startup sets its own product, pilot, evaluation or commercial milestone for the eight weeks. The program closes with a Demo Day in Bangkok in November, where startups present results to investors, government agencies, universities, hospitals, schools and potential customers.
